Do you see kids?
A: At For You Dental, one of the most enjoyable things we do is care for children. We routinely take care of all dental needs children have. An intentional effort is made to reduce anxiety and emphasize preventative maintenance in order to keep their needs to a minimum. We are never forceful with the kids we treat and always seek to build a relationship of trust with them.
What can I expect at my first visit?
A: It is our standard to primarily collect information at the first visit. Information such as medical and dental history, exam findings, and patient expectations is critical to developing a plan that succeeds.
Dental x-rays, examination of the teeth and gums, and review of the patient’s paperwork are typically done at first visits. Also, unless more severe gum problems exist, we try to accomplish a basic dental cleaning at the first visit.
What if I have a dental emergency?
A: Each doctor maintains an after-hours mobile phone for this purpose. The after-hours message you will hear when you call our main number (972) 386-4999 Or (972) 292-7340 will provide you with the appropriate phone number to call. Once in contact with your doctor, a suitable course of action can be implemented.
How long will I sit in your waiting room?
A: At For You Dental, our commitment to patients is evident in many ways. One way we express our commitment is that we are very punctual with the appointments our patients make. How many times have you spent more time in the waiting room than you have with your doctor? Not at For You Dental! Here it is extremely rare that a patient has to wait more than just a few minutes once they check in.
